Thank you for visiting landproDATA.com (the "Site"). We appreciate the opportunity to interact with you on the Internet and are committed to protecting and safeguarding your privacy. The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to inform you about the types of information we might collect about you when you visit the Site, how we may use that information and whether we disclose that information to others.
What Information We Collect and How We Use It
Most information we collect on the Site is generally considered Personally Identifiable Information.
Personally Identifiable Information - This refers to information that lets us know specifically who you are. When you register on the Site, you may be asked to enter your name, business name, email address, mailing address, phone number and professional affiliations. We use this information to contact you, if necessary, to track the account and to verify the professional affiliation as required by the subscription agreement.
Some of your Personally Identifiable Information may also be public information, available through various government agencies or online via public URLs. This information may appear in queries and reports on the Site as it is pertinent to land development activities. We abide by government agencies' rules and regulations pertaining to that information.
Ordering - When you place an order for a subscription or additional services, we require Personally Identifiable Information (such as name, contact and billing information, credit card, and other transaction data). We use this information to deliver your order, process payment, and to communicate with you about the status of your order. If a credit or debit card payment method is selected, your card number, expiration date, and card code are NOT retained on the Site; instead, the payment gateway on our server directly transmits your card information to Authorize.Net, which processes your card transaction through its highly secure database system. Other, non-sensitive Personally Identifiable Information you provide to us, such as name and billing address, are used to complete the purchase and will be retained within the database system of the Site for transaction confirmation.
Cookies - In computing, a cookie is a small string of text stored on a user's computer by a web browser. A cookie consists of one or more name-value pairs containing bits of information such as user preferences, shopping cart contents, the identifier for a server-based session, or other data used by websites. We use cookies to track the login, subscription and current session id's for the ease of use of the Site. Read more about our Cookie Policy here.
Network Data - Our web servers automatically recognize and collect the domain name and IP address of visitors to our website. In addition, we collect aggregate information on web page visits. We use this information to tailor our interactions and to ensure we offer the kind of information that you find most valuable.
Periodic Emails - There are two categories of emails sent from the Site, required and optional. The email address you provide will be used only to send you required emails, notifying you of account changes, scheduled maintenance of the Site or other information pertinent to your account. Optional emails may include company news, updates, and release information. You may opt-out from receiving future optional emails at any time.
How do we manage the browsing experience?
landproDATA.com and the mapping portion of the Site use pop-ups. These pop-ups consist of new windows which are opened to display information or allow functionality of the maps while maintaining the map view. Pop-ups must be enabled in order to use the Site. We do not allow or provide any "third party" pop-ups so you should add landproDATA.com to the trusted sites medium security zone in Internet Explorer or as appropriate in other browsers. The website uses JavaScript and it is required to be enabled in the browser for the maps to function properly.
How do we protect the information?
We implement security measures to maintain the safety of the Personally Identifiable Information. Passwords are never saved in clear text anywhere on the Site. Contact information and email addresses are stored in a secure database to prevent access by unauthorized parties.
For all payment transactions, sensitive information is transmitted via a certified HTTPS Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Credit or debit card numbers, expiration dates, and card codes are NOT retained on the Site.
Sharing the Information
Except as disclosed in this Privacy Statement, we do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise retransmit any Personally Identifiable Information we collect online unless we have permission or as may be required by legal action. In instances where third-party private data is provided to a specific user through the Site, we may be required to report minimal Personally Identifiable Information to said third-party to assure compliance with their rules and regulations regarding the use of their private data.
We may share names of individuals and businesses who subscribe to landproDATA as part of our ongoing marketing efforts, data summaries, and other queries and reports that appear on the Site.

Links to third-party Web sites may be provided solely for the information and convenience, or to provide additional information for various other goods and services. If you use these links, you will leave the Site. This Privacy Statement does not cover the information practices of those Web sites linked to the Site, nor do we control their content or privacy policies of those other sites.
