Subdivision Development In Ada County Unincorporated
Ada County Unincorporated has seen a decline in development in 2023. Both residential lots recorded and building permits are down compared to the number recorded this time last year. Building permits are especially low with only 130 issued this year compared to 242 in 2022.

In contrast, the number of new home construction permits issued in 2023 surged to 589, marking a substantial increase compared to the 382 permits issued during the corresponding period the previous year. The transfer of new homes has continued steadily, maintaining a consistent rate of transactions.
